"MUSCLE PLAN" Should be your first priority if you want to lose body weight. The weight you want to lose is FAT, not muscle. Make a plan to increase muscle in your body while you lose fat weight. Your metabolism will stay strong for long term weight loss when you maintain muscle while losing the fat weight. Your metabolism partners with your muscle to keep your "Burning Power" strong and efficient. The more lean muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be (and more calories you will burn). You WILL lose your calorie burning muscle tissue while you diet if you DON'T make a muscle plan to add strength training into your program. Why Weights? Adding resistance against your muscle works the muscle tissue. This is a good thing! The more the tissue gets some action, the more muscle you have, instead of fat. Fat takes up more space than muscle per pound. Over time and as you age, fat accumulates and muscle deteriorates. Your pants won't fit the same way without some intentional effort. You can change this by working the muscle tissue! Add weights to your day and feel your muscles working!
